You need to understand the importance of having a great product assortment and knowledge of the products you sell. If you do not comply with Fyndiq’s rules and regulations, your sales may be blocked. Below, you can see more information.
Your account will be blocked
- If you upload illegal products (example: alcohol), your account at Fyndiq will be terminated.
- If you upload a prohibited product, we will block the product. If we see a recurring trend, Fyndiq may have to end the collaboration.
Products may also be blocked
If a product generates many issues due to poor quality and / or missing deliveries, it will be blocked. Less than 1% of all our products exceed our limits for what we consider to be too high for complaints or missing products. These issues are always a cost both in time and money, but it also gives a negative customer experience. By reducing the number of complaints and missing products, we will get more satisfied and recurring customers, which leads to increasing sales for all Fyndiq merchants. To ensure the quality of the product assortment, our PIR-system (Product Issue Rate) looks at sales and the number of cases for a specific product for 60 days.
Since the issues usually come in between 5-10 business days after a purchase, we measure orders and cases at separate intervals. That means, for example, we measure the number of orders from 70 days backwards until 10 days ago, while for issue types we measure from 60 days back to today. This proved to be a better and more fair solution for you as a merchant.
If your product is blocked you may not, under any circumstances, upload the product again. We need to ensure our customers are not affected by dangerous or non-compliant products on the site. With these routines, we ensure the quality on site for everyone.
