What you need to do to import articles through CSV files in Merchant Center:
Before you upload your CSV file you need to ensure it follows our given structure, otherwise the articles will not be created. You can read more about it here.
If you have exported a CSV file from the current platform you will need to complete the CSV file before uploading. Information on what steps you need to take can be found here.
- When you have logged on to Merchant Center click on Articles.
- Click on Manage CSV uploads.
- Click on Upload new CSV.
- Click on Select file, select your CSV file and click on Start upload.
- When the upload is complete click Done.
When the processing of your CSV file is finished it will get the status Completed in the list and you can click on View details in order to check if all articles have been created.
It is only possible to create new articles through the CSV import. If an article already exists it will not be updated.
